Bad results for home chroming technique

Not really chromeing but attacked the rear right bubble with a wire brush and a couple of spots of weld onto the rear locating lug after i bent it back into place. A couple of coats of primer to stop the rust from forming again and now after a bit more rub down and primer should be ready for paint, maybe a bit of filler on the pck-marks along the bottom. On another note I'm still trying to identify the stator and its wiring but this is still pretty elusive until i can get the flywheel off. purchased a puller on ebay from someone who has a shop for this kind of stuff ( who'd have thought eh!) and now eagerly awaiting it's arrival. I have found out that it's not a 150 Super engine though, it would appear that I have an even older 150 Sprint engine, which has been modified by the looks of it, so i seem to be building some kind of frankenstein hybrid.
